Bridge business unit was established in 1996 within the framework of the
business of manufacturing and assembling bridges. In its first year, the
business unit was awarded the bridge fabrication contract with a total of 30,
740 meters long and successful to be the pioneering product to bridge the country.
Subsequently, Bukaka continued to increase market penetration so that in less
than 5 years, Bukaka managed to be among the 4 major bridge framework producers
in Indonesia. Business market penetration was followed by the creation of superior
product type bridge. In 2003, Bukaka designed and produced the framework of arch
bridges (Kahayan, Center Kalimantan).
In recent years, BUKAKA has succeeded in producing and installing a long arch bridges
in almost all over Indonesia such as Pela and Mahulu Bridge in East Kalimantan, and
Kahayan and Kalahien Bridges in Central Kalimanan, Siak Tiga Bridge, Teluk Masjid and
Siak Empat in Pekan Baru, Riau.
Bukaka continued to improve technology and to increase efficiency, both to the product
and system. Furthermore, Bukaka strengthened its position to construction framework.
