The Merangin Hydro Power Plant 350 MW, currently under construction, with numerous underground facilities especially for the pressure Waterway Tunnel situated in the very heterogeneous rock mass with changing of weak and hard rock units. The Waterway Tunnel is excavated by Drilling and Blasting method, lined with concrete lining, and targeted for completion by the end of 2024.
